Dorlan'
These plants were bred by the late Mr Harry Foster
of Crickhowell especially for the Trust.
We would like to thank Mrs Maureen Foster for carrying on her husband's
work and generously donating the plants to the Trust for fund-raising.
Propagation is carried out by a member of the Trust and plants are
available grown in a 2 litre pot.
Growing instructions:- plant in good garden soil with peat/coir/bark
mulch dug in plus a general fertiliser sprinkled into the soil. Moist
soil preferred in a sunny position. £5.00 each.

our narrow boat Glas y Dorlan by local artist Bill Williams
About the artist:- Bill Williams was born in Llanrhaeadr
ym Mochnant. During the Second World War he was a member of the
airborne forces and became a POW after Arnhem. In civilian life
he worked as a surveyor with the Ordnance Survey and lived in the
Ruthin area for many years and now lives in Oswestry. He was formerly
the Chairman of the Ruthin Arts Society as well as Chairman of the
Clwydian Arts Society.
The Trust is especially grateful to Mr Williams for donating the
original watercolour to be used for fund-raising. The print is litho-printed
in four colours on a wood-free paper. Price £5.00
